At Esther’s Porch, creativity comes to life through hands-on experiences designed for all ages—but the heart behind the name goes back long before the studio ever existed.

Esther was my grandma.

Her home was the kind of place where people gathered. We sat around the table, played games, told stories, laughed until our bellies hurt, and simply enjoyed being together. Nothing fancy was needed. Her porch and her home were places to slow down, connect, and stay awhile.

When I started dreaming about Esther’s Porch, I kept coming back to that feeling.

I wanted more than a store. I wanted to create a place where people could walk in, sit down, make something, bring their kids, meet a friend, share a few laughs, and stay awhile.

In many ways, I realized I was creating a new kind of porch—and it only felt right to name it after my grandma, Esther.

Today, that spirit lives on through every creative experience.
