The Heart Behind Esther’s Porch ❤️

At Esther’s Porch, creativity comes to life through hands-on experiences designed for all ages. But the heart behind our name goes back long before the studio ever existed. It comes from a special person, cherished memories, and the simple joy of spending time together.

Esther was my grandma.

Her home was the kind of place where everyone felt welcome. It wasn't about having the perfect house, planning elaborate activities, or finding something exciting to do. It was about being together.

We gathered around the table, played games, shared stories, and laughed until our bellies hurt. Sometimes we were doing something, and sometimes we were doing absolutely nothing. Either way, those moments became memories that stayed with us.

Her porch and her home were places where you could slow down, relax, connect, and stay awhile. There was always room for one more person, one more story, and one more laugh.

Looking back, it wasn't the things we did that made those moments so special. It was how we felt when we were together.

That's the feeling I wanted to bring to life when I created Esther’s Porch.

A place where families can spend time together, friends can reconnect, kids can explore their imaginations, and people of all ages can discover the joy of making something with their own hands.

Of course, there's paint, crafts, laughter, and probably a little creative chaos along the way! But what we're really creating is something much bigger than the projects people take home.

We're creating moments worth remembering.

Every party, workshop, and creative experience is an opportunity to slow down, enjoy each other's company, and make memories together.

Esther’s Porch is more than the name of a creative studio. It's a tribute to my grandma and the warmth, love, and togetherness that made her home so special.

My hope is that when you walk through our doors, you feel a little of what we felt at Grandma Esther's house.
